We are pleased to announce the Feb 2023 release of our platform, which includes a number of exciting new features and improvements. The highlight of this release is the new member system, which enables self-managed and invited members for improved management and enhanced security. The new system allows for greater control over access and permissions, and enterprise members can be easily managed via a single table. As we continue to refine the portal, our goal at SUMS remains to deliver utility management with simplicity and a great user experience.

More details are below:

Portal Members:

  • We are introducing a new members system that streamlines management and enhances security. With this system, members can now be self-managed and invited to the platform via email. Enterprise members can also be easily managed via a single table with permissions and access noted. These changes will help ensure a smoother onboarding process and more efficient management of user access.

  • We are committed to improving our onboarding training and communication with new members in the upcoming releases. The new Members Tab and user roles were a vital step in the process.

  • Over the next few months, we will be migrating all of our existing username-based users to the new system. This will further improve security and simplify management for our clients.

Other Improvements:

  • Downloaded Data has been simplified by removing the Data Flags column. This change will lead to faster excel querying and improve the user experience.

  • Behind-the-scenes improvements have also been made to the platform, including performance enhancements and bug fixes. These changes will help ensure that the platform runs smoothly and efficiently.
