Identifying your water meter

To ensure an efficient logger installation, it is important that your water meter brand and type is identified prior to installation.

A SUMS representative has contacted you and requested further meter information so that the logger installation can be completed efficiently.

Please provide them with the following:

Closeup photo of the meter

So that the type of water meter can be determined, ensure that any labeling and the meter dial can be seen (please include any serial numbers).

Meter location photo

This photo will help determine the exact location of the meter. Please take this from some distance back so that the location can be more easily determined.

Meter serial photo

This photo will help determine the meter identification number. Please ensure all letters and numbers are included in the photo.

Meter pipe-work photo

This photo will highlight if there are any other logging devices attached or installation issues.

Other important information you may want to inform SUMS of:

Written location information e.g. "Meter located on 123 Sydney Rd, to the right of driveway entrance below the company sign".
Any site induction requirements that will need to be completed prior to the installation.
